Nursery Assistant
Full-Time — Competitive Pay & Benefits
Work closely with the Nursery Manager in a fast-paced, hands-on re-wholesale nursery environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, being outdoors, and working with plant material daily.
Responsibilities include:
• Loading and unloading plant material
• Watering, fertilizing, and general plant care
• Assembling orders for Linden Hill Nursery and Jerry Fritz Garden Design
• General property maintenance (pruning, weeding, facility upkeep)
• Assisting growers with plant care throughout the season
Schedule:
• Saturdays required during Spring and Fall sales seasons
Garden Assistant
Full-Time — Competitive Pay & Benefits
Work alongside the Lead Horticulturist maintaining Linden Hill’s display gardens and supporting plant production. This is a hands-on role well suited for someone interested in horticulture, garden maintenance, and growing practices.
Responsibilities include:
• Planting, weeding, mulching, and pruning display garden beds
• Assisting with display garden inventory and labeling
• Pulling plant orders for Linden Hill Nursery and Jerry Fritz Garden Design
• Plant production tasks including potting, propagation, and watering
• Hand-watering container plants as needed
• Assisting the Lead Horticulturist with sales support when needed
Schedule:
• Saturdays during the growing season
• Occasional Saturdays outside of peak season
Nursery Office Manager
Full-Time — Competitive Pay & Benefits
Work closely with the Sales Manager supporting daily sales operations at Linden Hill Nursery. This is a front-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, organization, and a dynamic retail environment.
Responsibilities include:
• Greeting customers and providing sales support
• Processing orders and managing transactions
• Answering phone calls and responding to emails
• Assisting with live inventory management
• Supporting overall sales operations
